Meet Zena, the face behind Webadoodle
I’m Zena, a freelance web designer in Chester in North West England. As a small business owner, I understand how the right website can give a business the professional edge it needs to attract customers.
After 22 years' experience designing and running websites, including my own site, Kidsguide — a website with millions of page views per year — I know a thing or two about contemporary web design.
When the pandemic came along, I saw so many people setting up small businesses. But most had little idea how to get a website that was right for them. They either kicked it into the long grass or got frustrated trying to self build. I knew I could help — and that’s when Webadoodle was born.

When I decided to focus on small businesses, I moved from Wordpress to Wix because I wanted to give customers a website they could easily manage themselves.

Get to know me
I love working as a web designer in Chester. But, when I'm not working, I enjoy long country walks with my partner Steve and Maisie the cockapoo, kayaking, gardening (I may be the only website designer who is RHS qualified) and weekends away in our campervan.
I love visiting new countries (38 and counting), spending time with our daughters, looking after my chickens and sharing good food and wine with friends.
