Should You Use Case Studies or Testimonials On Your Website
It's quite typical to see testimonials featured on websites. They’re useful as they demonstrate that you have satisfied clients. However, a testimonial doesn't provide nearly as much detail as a case study.
Why is that?
Because a case study tells a story. And as we know, stories are incredibly compelling.
How To Structure A Case Study On A Website
I prefer to structure case studies in the following manner:
My client encountered this issue.
Here’s how I addressed it.
This was the outcome for my client.
This is their reaction (the testimonial quote).
This approach allows your potential clients to relate to the scenario. They might recognise that they face the same issue as the person in the case study. Now they can see that you’re capable of providing the solution and that it could have a positive impact on their business.
Bonus Extra - Keywords!
Case studies provide an excellent opportunity to include your keywords in a meaningful context. It's A No Brainer
If you have some great case studies with happy clients it's a no brainer to include them on your website. It will show your expertise and reassure potential clients that you can help them.
If you want to add a case studies page to your Wix website, I can help with that. Please get in touch.
